Once again a great time was had by all. Found a great hiking guide and walked the Maitland River route. The cottage is warm & welcoming, perfect for lounging & reading. Will keep coming back to Southern Ontario. For us, this is a perfect vacation-quiet, peaceful & scenery that rivals anywhere in the world! Driving the country roads, passing through the small towns is a pleasure & delight.

The cottage was so well maintained and had everything we could possibly want to be extremely comfortable.  The view is amazing and we all loved the coziness of the surroundings.  You folks were wonderful and extremely accommodating and it did not take very long for us all to realize that we had found our new “home” in Bayfield.  We look forward to many, many years of enjoyment at Deer Park Resort.  Again, many thanks.

Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our semi-annual stay in the Hutch cottage. As usual, everything was wonderful. Your new stairs amazed me. This 69 year-old woman with fibromyalgia found them to be so easy. The half-steps are a big part of that. I haven’t been down to the beach since around 1996 because the stairs were too much for me. First of all, these new stairs were very easy, but most importantly —- the beach is absolutely beautiful. Kirsten, you have made so many fantastic improvements down there. Nice clean sand, all the comfortable colourful muskoka chairs, great firepit, charming new washrooms, and all those umbrellas!!! I was stunned. So glad I tried the new stairs. Can’t wait till fall when we come back again.
